Orientation to internship or starters job

Every first week of a new study period you can join the Career Exploration Talks. These sessions are designed to help you in your process of personal orientation and growth.

We all know that the orientation for an internship or starters job may be unpredictable. Whether you have no clue yet on what you want to be ‘when you grow up’, or have it all figured out already: these talks will give you that gentle nudge to orientate on your career wishes and plans.

Dare to be entrepreneurial - in English

The maximum number of participants has been reached. Therefore, registration is no longer possible.

Explore what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurial qualities are helpful in your job search process and employers see this skill as increasingly important in their ability to create social and economic value.

Together with experts on this topic from Venture Lab, we will explore the entrepreneurial skills and mindset during this talk.

Practical information

  • Target group: Dutch and international students and graduates of the UvA until one year after graduation
  • Organised by the UvA Student Careers Centre (Student Services)
  • Participation: a minimum of 25 participants
  • Language: English and Dutch talks
  • Costs: free of charge
  • Location: Roeterseiland Campus (REC). Participants will be informed of the precise location after registration.
