Preparing for your career can be serious business, but it can also be exciting. And it’s easy to start your journey! The yearly UvA Career Day helps you with your next step. The day includes: 

Inspirational talk: Entrepreneurship by Wibe van de Vijver (10 Nov. 13:00-14:00)

Wibe started his career at Google where he quickly became a Senior Strategist at the HQ in the heart of Silicon Valley. Recently he decided to start his own adventure in order to build a more sustainable social network: Mohi - feed your mind! What are the (dis-)advantages of these different career moves and how has Wibe’s career vision changed over the years?

Inspiration talk: How to start your career by Tom Dekker (11 Nov. 10:00-11:00)

The beginning of any career is an important predictor of future success and happiness and it is important to do it intentionally. In this session you will learn how to make the best decision for your first 'real' job based on your core motivations and innate talents.
