You’ve (almost) finished your studies and you’re looking for a job that suits you. You are looking for interesting and challenging work, a place where you’re able to learn and grow.
How do you organise your job hunting process?
Where can you start and how can you effectively use the opportunities you have?
How will you stand out and bring your qualities across?
Small cooperative learning groups
In a small group of fellow students, you will answer these three questions to gain insight in contemporary and venturous ways of orientating and applying for a job. An experienced career coach will be guiding you in this process. You will experience how your personal job orientation process can be both fun and successful.
The Career Workout benefits from the power of the group. In the Career Workout, you will expand your network, learn from peers and receive feedback from different perspectives. Because of the small group size and the multiple gatherings, there is lots of room for personal attention.
The Career Workout consists of three sessions with focus on:
Yourself, in this moment - about exploring your talents, qualities, interests and previous experiences
How to present yourself - about telling your story, first impressions, how to express yourself (offline and online) and how to verbalise what you are looking for
Labour market and networking - about the art of networking; talking to people and finding your labour market through your network.
After the Career Workout:
You’re able to verbalise your qualities and interests
You know how to present yourself in a more confident and authentic manner
You know where and how to search for work that suits you
You know how to talk to people, ask questions and share your story
You know that contacts are a powerful source in the job searching process and you know how to reach them.
