Planning in a nutshell (short workshop)

You know you should do it, you want to do it, and you’re quite certain: ‘I'll start tomorrow…’ But somehow you never get round to making your plan, let alone sticking to it. The next day there are always other things that take priority. Making the plan somehow often gets forgotten or temporarily parked, or even eventually becomes an end in itself rather than a means to an end.

This short workshop gives you more background on how to plan your work and helps you get to grips with making a realistic plan: ‘I’m starting today!’.

Key aspects dealt with in this workshop:

  • The theory behind making a plan
  • How to make a realistic plan

Please note: Some of the content of this workshop is also covered in the longer workshop ‘Planning skills for study’. ‘Planning skills for study’. also deals with other aspects of study skills. So there is some overlap if you take both workshops, but they both contain new information.
